The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance Tanzania, Dr. Natu El-Maamry Mwamba, has underscored the importance of discipline, teamwork and innovation among women working at the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) in the execution of their duties. She made the remarks during the commemoration of International Women’s Day, noting that the contribution of every female employee plays a vital role in advancing the institution’s objectives.

Dr. Mwamba further encouraged women to actively take up leadership opportunities, inspire professionalism within their teams and serve as role models in promoting high standards of performance in the workplace. She emphasized that commitment, collaboration and innovation are key factors in enhancing productivity and improving services provided to taxpayers.

She also highlighted the importance of continuous skills development and strong cooperation among colleagues, noting that these elements will enable women at TRA to strengthen their professional capabilities while contributing to national development and the sustainability of effective institutional systems.
